A 1/16" - 1/8" coating of MenderBlender is trowelled on to the concrete. The finish is allowed to be rough with a natural stone-like texture. A masonary brush is helpful in working the material into the joints and corners. |
| After the MenderBlender is allowed to cure overnight, 1/2 inch reinforced strapping tape is used to mask out a pattern for the grout lines. The design is only limited by your imagination. Here we chose to use the tooled control joints in the design instead of concealing them. Each 6' x 6' panel was picture framed with a 6 inch border. 12 inch squares will fill in the middle like tile. |

A 1/16" - 1/8" coating of colored MenderBlender is trowelled over the tape. Here we used a rubber float and a steel trowell to give the finish some texture. For color, liquid concrete tinting was added to the water prior to mixing. |
| Once the MenderBlender cures, the tape is pulled and the design is revealed. A coat of standard concrete sealer is applied with a roller. |

Roadware MenderBlender will leave a tough, long lasting decorative surface that will not flake off like paint and will hold up to all types of weather. We recommend a concrete sealer be applied every 2 years for added protection. |
