Roadware 10 Minute Concrete Mender™ is great for solving difficult concrete repair problems. Cracks in stained concrete, micro-topped overlays, polished concrete and terazzo may be repaired and color matched with favorable results.

Roadware 10 Minute Concrete Mender™ is used to repair hairline cracks that developed in a stained micro-top overlay on a radiant heat floor in a kitchen. The cracks developed shortly after the overlay was applied, stained and sealed.

Using a specially designed needle tip mixer, Concrete Mender is applied directly to the crack. The sealer on the surface prevents the slight over banding from fully penetrating the colored surface. Fine graded silica sand is used to momentarily hold the Concrete Mender in place as it penetrates into the crack. This sand will be removed later in the finishing and blending stage.

Additional sand and material is applied until the crack is slightly overfilled. The needle tip mixer allows for pinpoint application.

A margin trowel is used to work sand and Concrete Mender into the crack as it cures.

As the Concrete Mender cures, heavy duty sand paper is used to blend the surrounding concrete in into the the repair. The repair quickly takes up the color from the surrounding concrete.

Once cured, in about 10 minutes, the repair is blended and sanded smooth.

The finished repair blends in as part of the natural finish. Once the floor is re-sealed, the repair will be much less noticeable. No product will make a crack disappear, but with Roadware 10 Minute Concrete Mender™, you can cure the problem without doing the whole project over.
